„Groove Delicious” is a group of DJ’s, producers, musicians, event planners and other artists that dedicates their time and effort in planning events and parties for active, open minded people like themselves who can appreciate some good electronic dance music and most importantly for people who know how to have a good time.

 

The main initiator and founder of „Groove Delicious” is Artūrs Balodis who started the whole idea of planning and organizing the unordinary parties. The very first party was held on a ship named “Peldošā darbnīca” (The Floating Workshop) in Andrejsala on august 20th 2009. Since the party was a success a young DJ named J. Breeze decided to join the group and become a member of „Groove Delicious” in order to help the group with some ideas and initiatives.

 

Until this day ,„Groove Delicious” has not stopped. After having organized some great parties at the club/bar Ofiss (Office) and having celebrated the one year anniversary of the group at “Cabo Café” the group still has their thinking caps on for them to able to offer the next great event just for you. That is why the parties and events are not thrown every week, not every month even, because the main philosophy behind each event they have planned is – “quality beats quantity".

 

There are of course a lot of groups of enthusiasts that plan and organize different parties and events. The thing that sets „Groove Delicious” apart from all of them is the attention to details. Because everything, starting with the theme of the party, the venue and ending with the colour scheme of the advertisement poster, has to be planned out perfectly in order to give the audience the best that can be given to them.

 

The musical end of „Groove Delicious” could be described as a mix of House with a liitle addition of Techno, however when attending our parties you will be able to enjoy Tech house, Minimal, Progressive house and Techno that will make you jump from joy. Sometimes you will be able to hear dubstep and trance.
